The premiere day of In First Person: The Festival will be hosted by Litteraturhuset. On September 17th there will be a live streamed lecture by professor and activist, Susan Stryker. The lecture will center around her book, Transgender History: The Roots of Today's Revolution. There will also be a panel discussion led by the artistic director of 71BODIES, Daniel Mariblanca, with special guest Isak Bradley, from the summer production of, In First Person: The House[digital] following the lecture.

Our intention with In First Person: The Festival is to generate the feeling of community through the exchange of academic knowledge, artistic experiences and testimonies in the first person narrative, surrounding transgender topics. In First Person is a three part production consisting of In First Person: The House[digital], In First Person: The Festival and In First Person: The Dance.
